Community Involvement

We believe that building relationships and working together are critical to our success as a community of compassionate caregivers.
~ The Bayada Way

Bayada Nurses employees have a deep commitment to supporting a variety of community events and humanitarian efforts. As individuals and collectively, employees offer their time and talents to support local charities as well as national and international relief efforts.

Bayada Nurses for Haiti

Bayada Nurses is proud to support relief efforts in Haiti by sponsoring experienced registered nurses to travel to Haiti and work there for a minimum of 4 weeks. Interested nurses do not have to be employees of Bayada. All experienced nurses are welcome to apply.

Bayada will cover the cost of all travel, living expenses, and inoculations. This effort is being coordinated with International Medical Corps (IMC), a humanitarian, non-profit organization that has been sending medical personnel to assist with relief efforts since 1984, including Bayada's efforts in Kosovo
in 1999.

Bayada Nurses is especially proud to be the sole corporate sponsor of the Bayada Regatta, an annual adaptive rowing competition that has been held on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia since 1981. The Bayada Regatta is the oldest adaptive rowing competition in the world. Hosted by Philadelphia Adaptive Rowing (PAR) formerly known as the Philadelphia Rowing Program for the Disabled (PRPD), the event attracts some of the top physically and developmentally disabled rowers from around the world.

In addition to sponsorship, Bayada Nurses works with PAR to organize the event, which is staffed entirely by volunteers. Bayada is proud to support PAR in making the sport of rowing available to everyone and to work to increase awareness of the therapeutic and rehabilitative benefits of rowing.
